UPH aims for academic excellence with curriculum that seek the balance between theory and practice in the form of field study, seminars, workshops, laboratory work, internships and job placement.

UPH also prepares students to become world future leaders by providing knowledge and character needed by a leader. At UPH, Leadership, Character Development and Communication are compulsory subjects, and fluency in English is in the curriculum. Students of UPH must take the TOEFL as a compulsory subject, preparing students to achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 500.
