“Engineers the Civilization”
Objective
- Produce graduates with excellent skills in construction management by developing analytical and critical thinking skills, and equip them with up-to-date knowledge on the Principles of Construction & Project Management which enables them to compete in the professional construction industry.
- Enrich engineers with the advanced knowledge in construction fields and industries.
- Prepare graduates to pursue further studies to obtain doctoral degree.
- UPH Master of Civil Engineering has a good cooperation with other professional associations in construction, industry and consultant or contractor companies to run programs in education, research and public services.
- The lecturers are experts in their fields, and are also professional engineers who have experience in professional projects.
- The program will run for three semesters. Students can finish their Master Program in Construction Management in one and half years.
- Cooperation with Ikatan Ahli Manajemen Proyek Indonesia - IAMPI (Association of Indonesian Project Management Experts) in preparing the professional certification process and team teaching in the course “International Project Management”. By this cooperation, all students will gain knowledge and skills equal to the qualification standard of IAMPI. UPH’s Master of Civil Engineering also has good and close relationships with government and private companies in construction.
- There will be Seminar Programs in Construction & Project Management regularly.
Master of Civil Engineering runs the CPP every semester regularly. The topics for the CPP are:
• Feasibility Studies
• Law Aspects in Construction
• Risk Management
• Construction Management
• Project Management
The CPP will be conducted by the experts and professionals in the fields of CPP’s studies, and also by lecturers who are experts in the CPP’s studies.
