“Improving Food Quality, Improving Life Quality”
ObjectivesTo produce professional and competent Food Technology graduates in Quality Assurance Program, with the following capabilities:
- Professionals with high academic ability to solve technical problems and food quality management according to national & international food quality standards.
- Professionals with high capability in documenting and managing food quality in food industries.
- Professionals with high capability in creating a quality assurance system in a modern and dynamic Food Industry.
The ProgramThe program is focused on practical application of quality management and food safety systems such as GMP, HACCP, international quality system (eg. ISO Series, BRS, EurepGAP SQL) and total quality management, especially in food quality assurance. The course deals with major aspects of food quality assurance both in theory and practice, such as how to audit food industry to verify the food control system. Students work in small groups with practical assignments to analyze existing situations of food safety and product quality management. The course comprises 11 modules and 37 credit points to be taken in three semesters.
