At UPH students learn not only through the classroom but also through serving in the community. This learning methodology we call service learning.
Service learning is a method of teaching, learning and reflecting that combines academic classroom curriculum with meaningful service, throughout the community.
In service learning, student learn how to develop awareness for the environment, solve problems in the community, deal with people and get experience that shape their interpersonal skills, work in teams and much more. Service learning also makes academic content come alive as students apply their knowledge and skills to real-life situations.
Students will become more engaged in their studies and also make a positive impact for the community.
