 Learning Theories and Teaching Concepts (2 credits)
To provide students with knowledge of various theories of learning and teaching concepts which are fundamental to understand basic principles in developing as well as giving educational instruction.

Philosophy of Science
(2 credits)
Lays critical foundations to science in a broad sense, allowing students to explore different paradigms and values in viewing and discussing educational issues.

Instructional Design
(3 credits)
Developing and designing instructions in education require understanding of essential principles. This course provides extensive discussions on various principles and approaches.

Interactive Media
(2 credits)
Allows students to learn and practice the skills of interactive media, especially in supporting educational activities. It will introduce the concepts, roles, and significances of media in relation to educational fields.

Measurement and Evaluation
(3 credits)
Measurement and evaluation in education is not only limited to developing test items but covers the whole process of reviewing and rewarding learners’ performance. This course allows students to learn the principles and engage in practical measuring and evaluating activities.

Research Methodologies
(3 credits)
Quantitative and qualitative approaches in assisting students to develop their research skills, especially in data gathering and analysis.

Knowledge Development
(2 credits)
Introduction to cost analysis in relation to measuring intangible aspects which are very significant in dealing with a learning organization. The philosophies and principles of measuring as well as analyzing costs are also covered in this course.

Leadership Development
(2 credits)
Leadership in education has currently become an influential element in educational fields. This course offers discussions and analyses of leadership qualities to support educators as leaders.
 
Cognitive Strategies
(3 credits)
Cognition and its relation to the teaching and learning process. This allows students to explore widely used teaching strategies and develop instructions which encourage creative thinking and learning.

Human Resources Training and Development
(3 credits)
Allows students to improve their competency in managing human resource quality, from human resource planning and performance development to dealing with training needs analyses.

Training for Trainers
(2 credits)
Provide students with the skills to design and develop curricula and strategies for trainers taking account the uniqueness of diverse audiences.

Analysis and Design of Learning Organizations
(2 credits)
Introduces concepts and analyzes actual cases of learning organizations, including organizational culture and self-steering teams. The course also assists students to design organization models which suit the needs of particular institutions.

Management of Innovation
(2 credits)
To provide students with adequate knowledge and analytical competence to manage innovations so that they acquire not only an understanding of managing innovations but also the proper attitude and competency to their application in educational settings.

Accounting and Finance
(3 credits)
Providing students with the basic skills to deal with accounting and finance, especially in relation to managing educational organizations. As part of managerial skills, this course contributes to the skills of leaders of educational institutions.

Strategic Management (3 credits)
Strategic planning and marketing in education have become key success factors in developing educational organizations. Recently, not only managing is significant but also leading strategies are important.

Human Resources and Program Management
(3 credits)
In this course students explore various aspects of human resources management and program development, covering both strategic and operational levels. Topics of discussion and analysis include legal aspects, rewarding and developing human resources.

Organizational Behavior
(3 credits)
To identify and explain the relationship between structure and behavior in organizations. It also covers the area of structural integrity and the whole process interaction as well as coordination.
