A well thought out design contributes significantly to all aspects of life. At UPH, we strongly believe that interior design is not merely decorating by taste. Interior design is about understanding all complexities of three dimensional spaces and composing them to fulfill human needs and desires. As we change the intricate details of our design, we are changing how each person may feel, act, and function in this space. Designers must improve the quality of life in space.

As the world now competes globally, UPH Interior Design encourages students to draw from cultural identity to achieve distinction. Combined with liberal arts courses offered at the university, the desire is to develop professional connections beyond the safety of our discipline. We believe that future designers will increasingly draw inspiration from diverse strains of disciplines, while at the same time understanding completely who they are.
