The Pelita Harapan Foundation is investing for the future by establishing a team of educators and a purpose–driven Teacher Education Program, also known as the Teachers College.
Universitas Pelita Harapan Indonesia, in cooperation with Corban University USA developed the Teachers College curriculum, which set a new benchmark of teacher education in Indonesia whereby students can specialize in : - Primary Education - Secondary Biology - Secondary Economics - Secondary Mathematics Scholarships are available up to 100 % including meals, accommodation, transportation, uniforms, tuition fees and textbooks. International partners include Tabor College (Australia) , Corban University (USA), Samford University (USA), Wheaton College (USA), all of whom fully support the mission and vision of Teachers College. . Partnershipswith these overseas universities also enable them to send their teams of educators to Teachers College as well as welcome visitors to their universities. Programs are conducted in a choice of two (2) languages. The course in Bahasa Indonesia will match the English course in standard and both programs open the way for employment in Indonesian or English speaking schools. Other facilities available include Overseas Learning Opportunities (Scholarships or Self-funded/sponsored), Scholarship Programs (for both programs), and Job Placements.
