Academic Sport Courses (FLA)
The FLA fitness and wellness course is an introductory course focused on a balanced life of the spiritual, academic and physical elements of life. This integrated approach instructs students in a variety of topics, including ( nutrition, mental health/stress management, fitness concepts, exercise methods, sex education, life style choices, disease prevention, ) Each student is expected to keep a health journal based on his nutrition and exercise choices during the semester. Assessment also includes a mid-term test as well as a final exam.
