The Program
Providing good quality education services is a shared task among the government, educational institutions and the community. Both formal and non-formal institutions are expected to take an active part in providing qualified and competent graduates with high-quality training and educational programs.
The UPH Master of Education program offers an opportunity to engage intensively with the field of education in a broad sense. Through academic and practical studies, students will experience the advancement of information technology to meet society’s demands for qualified, progressive, and creative personnel in diverse areas of educational training and human resource development.
This program delivers courses in managing educational institutions to meet the challenge of providing a good quality educational service. Master of Education graduates will acquire skills in developing instructional technology in education as competent trainers (instructors, teachers, and lecturers) and program planners, critical and creative curriculum developers, confident information and technology users and effective, efficient managers of training and educational institutions who excel in strategic planning. Detailed expected skills and competencies of the graduates are described under the separate concentrations of Master of Education, They are: Educational Technology, Educational Management, Early Childhood Education, and Teaching English To Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

What do we offer?
We offer a Master degree program in Education/Magister Pendidikan (M.Pd.) with concentration in Educational Leadership.
Why a systemic Master Degree?
There is a critical need worldwide for well-developed Christian leaders who organically embody biblical principles. Our goal is to prepare future servant leaders who are able to articulate a developing biblical Christian worldview for leadership and curriculum, and who will lead in a distinctively Christian manner.
Why is our program distinct?
Our program is distinct because all programs are systemically planned and taught from a biblical Christian worldview. In addition, students are able to graduate with a U.S. accredited degree alongside the degree awarded by UPH.
What languages will the program be offered in?
This program offers two separate tracks in English and Indonesian.
Are regular and non-regular classes available?
The M.Pd. will be offered as a regular program in English. It will also be offered as a non-regular program in English and bahasa Indonesia.
How long will it take to complete the Master Degree?
This program is a 72-credit hour program. Regular program will be able to complete this program in 18 to 24 months, and non-regular program will be able to complete this program in three years.
Where are we located?
We are located in UPH Lippo Village Campus, 22 kilometers west of Jakarta, Indonesia.
Where will full-time students live?
There are plenty of affordable apartments available around campus. We offer assistance to help students find apartments upon request.
What is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee is Rp 60.000.000,- for the Indonesian track and USD$9,000 for the English track. This is the fee includes all the academic costs for the whole program.
