UPH Faculty of Law Received the Rector Trophy in UPH Graduation XXXI

A total of 1.897 graduates were inaugurated at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) XXXI Graduation. The best graduate for all strata in Graduation XXXI was Richardus Handojo Wiwoho, from the Doctor of Law Program, in which he got GPA of 4.0 with Highly Praised Predicate. The other best graduate of the master program was Shinta Pangesti, from the Master Program of Notary, with a GPA of 3.85. In the undergraduate program, the best graduate was Evan Wijaya, from the Visual Communication Design (DKV) study program, School of Design, with a GPA of 3.96. While the best graduates of Diploma 4 program was achieved Jesslyn Claire, from Hospitality Management courses with a GPA of 3.85.
 
 
As is the tradition in each UPH graduation, the faculty whose graduates get the highest achievement from all strata is entitled to bring the Rector Trophy to the Faculty. This time, the Faculty of Law received the Rector Trophy which was handed over by Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak M. Eng. Sc., Rector of UPH, to Prof. Bintan R. Saragih, Dean of Faculty of Law.
 
 
In the last three graduations, the Faculty of Law succeeds in becoming a faculty that produces the best UPH graduates from all strata. This adds the prestigious achievement of FH UPH which was established since 1996. Besides receiving achievements in several competitions at the national and international level, UPH Faculty of Law also achieved an accreditation in three consecutive periods. Not only that, UPH Faculty of Law also appointed by Region III Jakarta Kopertis (Coordination of Private Universities) as the “The First Prize” of Faculty of Law Undergraduate Program in the area of Region III Jakarta Kopertis. The total graduates from FH UPH are 1,842 students, consisting of 1,187 Bachelor of Law (SH), 309 Master of Law (MH), 317 Master of Notary (MKn) and 29 Doctor of Law (DH).
 

Rector appreciates the hard work of lecturers in educating students and also to parents who entrust their children to study at UPH. While to the graduates, the Rector encouraged them to be agents of change that bring the light of hope wherever they are placed.

We send our graduates with a hope that all of you will be agents of transformation, to bring the light of hope. Our nation is waiting for leaders with character, undoubted integrity and wise in facing many challenges. We send our graduates to bring change and transformation that this nation awaits,” said the Rector in front of the graduates, their families and all guests who attended in UPH XXXI Graduation Ceremony at UPH Grand Chapel, June 3, 2017.
 
The graduation procession is divided into 5 sessions, starting from May 31, 2017, UPH had conducted a graduation ceremony for 203 graduates from Teachers College (TC) program and International Teachers College (ITC). The sessions followed by graduation for 838 graduates of Faculty of Psychology, Law, Nursing, Science, and Technology, and Social and Political Science on June 3, 2017. The rest of other faculties’ graduation are going to be held in two sessions on June 17, 2017, for 867 graduates from the Faculty of Design, Medical School, Information Science and Technology, Business School, Arts, and Pelita Harapan Tourism School (STPPH).
