PRIDE was a competition where participants have to create a creative PR campaign program by making use of the trending information technology.

In this competition, participants would have to make a creative PR campaign program by making use of the current information technology trends. Along with the theme of Comvee 2017, the PRIDE program chose “Technology: Enhancing Quality of Life with Technology” as its theme. This theme aims to enable participants to experience a Public Relation Point of View on how to create a creative program by using the trending information technology, which has been a common thing now for most people, such as Instagram, Instant Messaging.

The competition started with participants’ proposal submission by May 22, 2017. There was a total of 10 proposals from 9 universities including Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Padjajaran, Binus University, Universitas Muhammadiyah, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, UNICOM, and much more. The interesting thing about this competition was the company visit program that was initiated by the committee that is mandatory for every team. This company visit program was made to create the opportunity for every participant to learn about many things throughout the competition. The Company visit was held on June 13, 2017, at two PR Agencies: Zeno Indonesia, which has been known for many of its creative strategies and ideas in Public Relations campaign, and also Edelman, a renowned Public Relations company in Indonesia.
