Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. - Rector
Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. is a graduate from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor from Ouachita Baptist University. He has an extensive experience in business and government services. He was the President, CEO, and Chairman of Indosat. Dr. Parapak served as a Secretary General of the Department of Tourism, Post, Telecommunication; a member of the National Council of Research. Joining UPH in 2001, he was then appointed as the President and Rector of UPH in 2006.

Gary A. Miller, Ph.D. – Executive Vice Chancellor/President
Gary A. Miller, Ph.D. joined the UPH leadership team in November 2009 as Executive Vice Chancellor; a title which then turned into bigger responsibilities, when he assumed the additional title of President. He has earned degrees from Spring Arbor University (B.A. in Biology/ Laboratory Medicine), Central Michigan University (M.S.A. in Health Care Administration), and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (Ph.D. in Curriculum, Administration and Instruction). Dr. Miller has served the higher education community since 1976 in a variety of public and private institutions in the United States. He has held positions of leadership as a department chair, dean, Vice Provost and Provost and Senior Vice President. His publications focus upon leadership and management in higher education. Dr. Miller has also been a consultant in the area of accreditation and educational effectiveness.

Prof. Brigida M. Octavio, Ph.D. - Vice President for Academic Faculties and Services
Prof. Brigida M. Octavio, Ph.D. became one of UPH's lecturers in July 2006. With a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois, USA, she has enriched her Business School students in so many ways. It doesn't stop even until her appointment as a Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2007.

Ferliana Suminto, MBA - Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services
Joining UPH in 1998, Ms. Suminto has always been the expert in her assignment, that is, as a Vice President for Finance and Administration. Holding the Master degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, USA, she is committed to make UPH as the one and only Global Campus in the nation.

Dr. J. Kirk Kauffeldt, Ed.D. – Vice President for Student Development and Spiritual Formation
Dr. Kirk Kauffeldt has joined the UPH leadership team with particular responsibility for Student Development and Spiritual Growth. He has earned degrees from Trinity Western University (BA Biblical Studies), Western Washington University (M.Ed. Student Personnel Administration) and University of Toronto (Ed.D. Higher Education: Theory and Policy Studies). He has worked in Christian higher education institutions internationally for twenty-five years and served in various positions including Enrolment Management, Lecturer, Academic Dean and Vice Chancellor. His special area of academic focus is Leadership.

John J. Lee, Ph.D. – Vice President for University Development and External Relations
John J. Lee, Ph.D. has joined the UPH leadership team in November 2010. He has earned degrees from University of California at Berkeley (B.S. Industrial Engineering and Operations Research), University of Southern California (M.S. Management & Information Systems), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M. Div.), and Biola University (Ph.D. Educational Studies: Leadership and Intercultural Competence). Dr. Lee has worked in Fortune 100 multi-national corporations in engineering and consulting. He has also served in a variety of leadership roles churches, development group, and universities.
