POLICY

The LPPM is an executive body of Universitas Pelita Harapan, which has a duty to coordinate, monitor, and assess the implementation of research and community service activities held by each faculty or department. The LPPM also attempts to control use of resources, develop and improve the quality of research and community services at Universitas Pelita Harapan. In order to improve the quality of the services, the LPPM has formulated its policies as follows:
  1. Advancing the abilities of the UPH researchers to be able to compete with the researchers from outside Universitas Pelita Harapan.
  2. Nurturing the growth of research and community service culture which is oriented in the improvement of the society’s welfare and the nation’s self-reliance.
  3. Encouraging and facilitating lecturers to develop their innovations in many disciplines.


The roadmap of the research and community service activities at UPH can be described as follows:

  1. Initial phase (1996-2006)
  2. Developmental phase (2007-2012)
  3. Advanced phase (2013-2025)
