Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika – Fakultas Pendidikan UPH

Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika kami membekali para calon guru dengan kurikulum komprehensif yang berfokus pada pedagogi, fisika dan berbagai subdisiplinnya, serta landasan teologi Kristen. Program wajib Magang akan dipadukan pada semester ke-7 untuk memberikan pengalaman mengajar praktis bagi mahasiswa. Tujuan Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika UPH adalah menghasilkan guru fisika yang kompeten untuk mengajar bidang ini dalam konteks budaya Indonesia, serta memiliki pemahaman yang transformatif dan holistis berdasarkan wawasan dunia Kristen dalam kerangka Teologi Reformed.

Physics Education.

Our Physics Education program equips teachers-in-training with a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on pedagogy, Physics and its various sub-disciplines, as well as the foundation of Christian theology. A mandatory Internship program is integrated into the 7 th semester to give students a practical teaching experience. The aim is to produce Physics teachers who are competent in teaching this field within the Indonesian cultural context, as well as having transformative and holistic understanding based on the Christian worldview within the framework of the Reformed Theology.

What Will I Study.

You will learn things related to physics education, such as:

  • Function and implementation of machines or tools/objects which are like machines
  • Relationship between energy and heat
  • Electricity and magnetism
  • How a weak current electric appliance works
  • Behavior and nature of light and the interaction of light with matter.
  • Electric field and magnetic field
  • Atomic nucleus and changes in the atomic nucleus

M.Si.

Head of Physics Education

Dr. Yohanes Edi Gunanto, M.Si. is the Head of the Physics Education Study Program. He teaches Mechanics; Electricity and Magnetism; Electromagnetic Field; Fluid Physics; Solid Physics courses. His research interest includes nanotechnology in the field of magnetic material. He earned his doctoral degree in Materials Science from the University of Indonesia. Apart from teaching at universities, he is also a member of the Indonesian Physicists Association and actively trains Physics teachers in Indonesia.

Henni Sitompul,
M.Si.

Lecturer

Henni Sitompul, M.Si. is a lecturer of the Physics Education Study Program. She teaches Materials Physics; Electronics; Electronics Practicum; Mechanics Practicum; Fluid; Thermodynamics; Waves and Optics; General Physics; Elementary Physics; Science and Technology 2 courses. Her research interest includes biomaterials, science materials, and physics education. She earned her Bachelor of Science from University Sumatera Utara and Master of Science from Institut Pertanian Bogor.

Physics Education Student Council.

Physics Education Student Council exists to answer the needs of Physics Education students corresponding to the vision and mission of Physics Education. Physics Education Student Council helps and/or facilitates student on their learning process by exploring the interests, talents, and competencies through the work program that has been prepared.

Vision.

Physics Education Student Council as a media of expressing the love of Christ from commitment and solidarity among others which contributes in work talents development.
