306 Guru Baru Lulusan TC dan ITC UPH Diutus Melayani ke Berbagai Wilayah di Indonesia dan Internasional.

306 new teachers, graduates of the Faculty of Education – Unversitas Pelita Harapan (FIP-UPH) attended the UPH XXXIII Graduation on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at UPH Grand Chapel at the 6th floor of Building C. The graduates consist of 269 teachers from Teachers College – 101 from the Primary Education major, 23 from English Education, 54 from Mathematics Education 36 from Economics Education, and 55 from Biology Education. The other 37 are graduates of the International Teachers College (ITC) – 23 from Primary Education and 14 from English Education.

They are sent to almost all regions in Indonesia to serve in schools under the Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan (YPPH). This year, 76 teachers are sent to Sekolah Dian Harapan (SDH), 143 are sent to Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH), 5 to UPH College, UPH, and Lentera Bagi Bangsa. 45 others are sent to schools that support the vision of YPPH. As for ITC, they have so far graduated 49 teachers. This year’s graduates consist of students from Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, China, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Japan, and South Korea. Like the TC graduates, they are also sent to schools under YPPH and partner schools in Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Cambodia.

After the graduation, these new teachers will return back home before going to the schools they have been assigned to. They will start serving as teachers on July 2018. Placement results have been announced on May 18, 2018. (nl/rh)
