The Prevention of Virus Transmission through Washing Hands.

The increasing widespread of corona virus rises up the public awareness to find out ways of preventing the transmission of the disease. A virus is mostly transmitted through saliva spitted out of sneeze or cough from the infected person. The infected saliva can stick to things that we commonly encounter around us, such as a door handle, banister, elevator buttons, digital devices, cutlery, tissues, glasses, etc., even the hands of the infected person.

Hence, one of the most effective ways to prevent its transmission is to wash our hands regularly, especially after coming in contact with these objects. But have we washed our hands properly?

UPH share some tips, aligned with the Ministry of Health’s direction, referring to WHO’s recommendations, on how to wash our hands properly, and also some other tips that can be done to prevent transmission of a virus.
