“Welcome to the UPH family, new students. We enthusiastically greet new students in gratitude to God for sending you to UPH. This year’s Festival is special for all of us; we are finally back on campus after having the online festival for more than two years. This Festival is designed to introduce new students to academic activities at UPH that are carried out holistically. At UPH, we are committed to ‘Changing Minds and Hearts,’ cultivating wisdom and forging character with the principles embodied in UPH’s vision: True Knowledge, Faith in God, and Godly Character. I hope that this vision may be implanted in each student so that they are prepared to be sent out into the world to be agents of revolutionary. Likewise, through the teaching and mentorship we provide, we can help you become an impactful graduate when you finish your studies at UPH,” the Rector stated.

In addition to greeting new students, Dr. (HC) James Riady, the Founder of UPH, delivered a word of encouragement to the new students.

“Every student here, I believe, will be a leader. So, it is essential that today you commit to make Indonesia even better and have an influence. How? In keeping with the theme of the UPH Festival 2022, a transformation of heart and mind is required. I am confident that you will see positive changes during your time at UPH. Let’s do our best, stick to what’s right, and pursue your best abilities,” James remarked.
