Viar Temukan Solusi Manfaatkan Limbah Baterai Bekas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Teknik Elektro Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) dipercaya Viar Motor Indonesia untuk melakukan riset bersama untuk proyek pemanfaatan baterai bekas kendaraan listrik. Pada riset ini Teknik Elektro UPH berperan melakukan penelitian manfaat lain apa yang bisa diambil dari baterai yang sudah tidak maksimal, sedangkan dari sisi Viar menyediakan baterai Lithium-Ion bekas yang telah digunakan di skuter listri Viar Q1.<\/p>\n<p>Seperti dilansir dari Kompas.com dan Tempo.co pada artikel 10 September 2019 Dr. Henri P. Uranus, Ketua Program Studi (prodi) Teknik Elektro UPH menyatakan bahwa di era berkembangnya kendaraan listrik, baterai akan menjadi satu masalah yang harus diperhatikan.<\/p>\n<p>?Sangat perlu adanya riset dan pengembangan mengenai daur ulang baterai ataupun pemanfaatan ulang setelah tidak cocok lagi digunakan sebagai sumber daya pada kendaraan listrik,&#8221; kata Henri<\/p>\n<p>Henri juga menambahkan bahwa baterai yang telah digunakan pada motor listrik sebelumnya, masih sangat mampu digunakan untuk lampu PJU (Penerangan Jalan Umum). Tentunya menurut Henri, hal ini dikatakannya setelah melakukan uji coba di lab UPH.<\/p>\n<p>?Baterai yang kapasitas jelajah motor listriknya tinggal 50% bahkan dapat digunakan untuk lampu jalan 10W selama 1 minggu; dan 4 hari untuk lampu 20W dari terisi penuh hingga dimatikan sistem proteksi BMS (Battery Management System) internal baterainya.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut Henri menjelaskan bahwa baterai di motor tersebut menggunakan baterai jenis Li-ion yang kualitasnya di atas baterai lead acid jenis VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) yang biasa digunakan di lampu PJU solar umumnya. Ia menjelaskan bahwa dengan pemanfaatn PJU bertenaga surya, daur hidup baterai akan diperpanjang sehingga menrurangi beban lingkungan. Menurutnya, prototype hasil penelitian dengan baterai bekas motor akan diaplikasikan di lingkungan kampus sebagai percontohan.<\/p>\n<p>Meresponi riset bersama UPH ? Viar ini, Direktur Marketing Viar Motor Indonesia, Sutjipto mengatakan bahwa riset ini menjadi komitemen Viar Motor untuk menjawab isu limbah baterai motor listrik yang sudah tidak dapat digunakan.
