In this digital technology era, everybody has the opportunity to innovate. Of course, the young generation, as well as students, need to be aware of this. <\/p>\n

In this digital technology era, everybody has the opportunity to innovate. Of course, the young generation, as well as students, need to be aware of this. In this opportunity, the Rector of UPH, Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc., expressed his support for the socialization program conducted by OJK.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

?Surely, in the education field, we appreciate the technology and the education that have been developed, but in this era, we have been left behind. That is why we need the inputs of those who make this transformation. Hence we are so happy with this seminar. I hope that we can regularly invite these people and speakers who control and make those transformations existing in the market, business development, and the developments in our lives,? said the Rector of UPH.<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Fithri Hadi, Director Digital Finance Innovation Group in Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) explained about innovation in the digital era. According to Fithri, we need to pay attention on the needs of human resources in welcoming the digital era and in Indonesia itself, this is really deficient. That is why we need to socialize it more to support the spirit of the young generation. Because of that, along with the explanation, Fithri also gave some simple tips for those who want to enter the digital field.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To enter the digital field and utilize its opportunities, there are some steps needed to be prepared, so that the students can really be proficient in this digital field. These are some steps explained by Fithri:<\/span><\/div>\n

1. We Must Be Ready to Change,<\/span><\/strong> means that we cannot only play by the book. You must be able to explore deeper, because there will be a lot of new discovery. With those new discoveries,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

 \"icon_missing-piece-1.png\"<\/td>\n <\/td>\n2. able to Have the Ability to Adapt <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/strong>with the new discoveries emerging in a fast-paced time. With the ability to adapt, we who are interested in the digital era will be able to use the opportunity available to get something out of it.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
 \"social-network-communication_1325-56.jpg\"<\/td>\n <\/td>\n3. Ready to Know the Digital Field <\/span><\/strong>because all disciplines of science and professions are actually exposed digitally. When the digital era is massively applied, those who have not understood the digital field will start from 0 – they must start to learn from the beginning.<\/span> <\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Surely from the explanation, at least it could give new knowledge for the students and they will be able to understand more about the trend currently developing, the digital trend. According to Fithri, OJK itself is very open for students who want to get more exposure, for example with a guest lecture to deliver various literacy and opportunities for an apprenticeship.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the students, this event is very useful. Kezia and Angie, the students of Accounting 2016 feel very interested with this guest lecture.<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

?With this event, I can know more about the digital field, we can know how much the benefit of digitalization is, the effects, and the trends existing in Indonesia nowadays. The speaker mentioned about 132 people in Indonesia who have implemented digitalization, such as the internet and the sort. It means this can be an opportunity for us to open new business, or something related to the utilization of digitalization. It is certainly a good time to try. I am also interested and I want to enter this digital field. I see the opportunity to directly interact with people easily and efficiently.?<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

?This guest lecture makes me see that the digital era has developed so much. Everything has changed, including the service, obligations, and so on. It is because the utilization of digitalization. So, I think, the students are supposed to focus study about this digitalization. I hope a guest lecture like this can explain this topic deeper.?<\/span> <\/div>\n
