A total of 71 students and 6 teachers of State Vocational Secondary School (SMKN) 2 Purwokerto held a study visit to the Architecture and Interior Design program UPH, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A total of 71 students and 6 teachers of State Vocational Secondary School (SMKN) 2 Purwokerto held a study visit to the Architecture and Interior Design program UPH, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. The focus on arrival to UPH to see and obtain information on advanced study program related to the Building Modeling and Building Information and Design Expertise, and Building Construction Skill, Sanitation, and Maintenance, which is the specialization in SMKN 2 Purwokerto.<\/span><\/div>\n

In UPH the students are accepted by the Head of the Architecture Study Program, School of Design (SoD), Ferry Gunawan, S.T., M.A .. and UPH Student Consultant team. The students get the explanations about the learning process of Architecture and Interior Design. These two study programs are the focus of SMKN 2 Purwokerto visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to Suwargo, one of the teachers as a group leader, he said that architecture program is also related to one of the programs in SMKN 2 Purwokerto. Therefore through this visit, he hopes the students can get a picture of a continuing education after they graduate.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“We hope that this visit can motivate and inspire our students’ learning spirit, and open up good insights to work in the industrial world and those who will continue their studies to the university level,” Suwargo explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the presentation session of Architecture Study Program, Ferry explained specifically the various aspects studied in the department. The students also described other programs in the UPH School of Design. The students are given an explanation of the uniqueness of Architecture and Interior Design of UPH, as well as the requirements for entry into the department.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After the presentation, it continued with a question and answer session. Some teachers ask questions about the learning materials of the Architecture Study Program. The explanation was conveyed by Ferry and continued by visiting the exhibition room of the Architecture Student while given explanation. After attending the presentation at SoD, the group was invited to see some academic learning and support facilities that exist in UPH campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Suworgo, representing SMKN 2 Purwolerto, conveyed the satisfaction of receiving UPH and willing to welcome UPH visit to their school. For SMKN 2 Purwokerto this visit has been the third time and they feel insightful. UPH architecture becomes an option because it has good academic quality, accredited A, and also supported by quality learning facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The lecturers and the graduates are also good. We get a lot of insightful knowledge. The works on display are also very good. The welcoming of UPH staff is also very friendly. We also like to invite students to watch the campus which is clean and beautiful. I hope our students have an opportunity to study further in UPH, “said Suwargo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides study visits, SMKN 2 Purwokerto also visit the construction industry and tourist attractions at Jakarta and Bandung.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
