Kedua peminatan ini diperkenalkan pada siswa sekolah menengah yang hadir di acara Open Day SISTech, pada 8 November 2017.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dalam Open Day secara singkat Hendra&nbsp; Tjahyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Wakil Dekan SISTech UPH menjelaskan bahwa kedua peminatan ini lahir atas dasar kesadaran bahwa teknologi semakin berkembang pesat, dan banyak kemajuan yang dapat menjadi peluang. Untuk itu melalui dua peminatan unggulan ini, SISTech UPH ingin anak didik semakin fokus dengan kebutuhan di bidang teknologi yang ada, dan menggunakan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam proses studi secara aplikatif untuk menjawab beragam persoalan di bidang teknologi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Menurut Hendra, saat ini kita berada di era <em>Internet of things<\/em> atau IoT. Di era <em>IoT<\/em> ini tentunya melibatkan beragam hal baik jaringan, <em>system, cloud<\/em>, dan terutama data. Data menjadi hal yang penting dan sebagai dasar dalam melihat kecenderungan suatu masyarakat. Dengan adanya data melalui perkembangan teknologi maka <em>interest <\/em>suatu masyarakat dapat diketahui. Namun tentunya perkembangan teknologi ini juga tidak dapat berjalan tanpa adanya upaya manusia&nbsp; sebagai sumber daya untuk pemanfaatan dan pengembangan teknologi yang akhirnya dapat digunakan untuk menunjang kebutuhan manusia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Bicara mengenai dua peminatan unggulan dari SISTech, mahasiswa akan diberikan fokus studi yang spesik. Untuk <em>Technopreneurship <\/em>mahasiswa akan&nbsp; fokus mempelajari mengenai pembuatan konsep untuk produk teknologi, mampu mengembangkan proses bisnis dari produk atau jasa di bidang teknologi atau digital. Mahasiswa juga difokuskan untuk dapat memanfaatkan <em>platforms digital marketing<\/em> untuk efektivitas pasar dari jasa atau produk yang mereka buat. Dengan peminatan <em>Technopreneurship<\/em> ini mahasiswa memiliki kesempatan untuk menjadi seorang <em>technopreneur<\/em> atau seorang <em>entrepreneur<\/em> yang menggunakan teknologi dalam menciptakan bisnis yang inovatif. Kedua, peminatan ?<em>Smart Application Development?<\/em>, mahasiswa difokuskan untuk mempelajari bagaimana cara membuat aplikasi, <em>tools<\/em>, dan <em>software <\/em>dari jasa atau produk yang mereka tawarkan, kemudian mahasiswa juga difokuskan untuk mampu mengembangkan bahasa dan logika suatu <em>software<\/em> untuk membuat suatu aplikasi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dengan kedua peminatan unggulan ini, SISTech UPH mahasiswa UPH akan menjadi lulusan dengan pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang relevan dengan tren teknologi, sehingga mereka dapat menjadi <em>problem solver<\/em>&nbsp; melalui kemampuan mereka di bidang teknologi.
