Universitas Pelita Harapan once again presents McKinsey & Company in On-Campus Recruitment (OCR) event held by Alumni and Career Center UPH on October 6, 2017, at UPH Karawaci, Tangerang.<\/span><\/div>\n

?We are here at UPH and we always want to explain what it is McKinsey, what is the consultation world, and give a workshop on how they need to prepare themselves when they want to be a part of the team.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Not just that, we also want to explain that McKinsey does not only act as a consultant, but we always provide opportunities to engage in social activities, such as our activities at Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa, where we provide basic training for children from an early age. This is what we want to share with friends in UPH, “said Charina Septyandari, Recruiting Coordinator of McKinsey & Company.<\/span><\/div>\n

Charina also explained what McKinsey & Company is looking for is indeed those who have high academic value and also supported soft skills. In particular, McKinsey & Company is looking for UPH graduates who have good problem-solving skills, are active in campus academic activities, have achievements, and also have a significant role in the campus organization.<\/span><\/div>\n

 <\/div>\n

?So far we are happy to be present at UPH, since last year we presented in this OCR activity, and I am very happy with student’s enthusiasm. Among all of the universities we have visited, the most proactive students are from UPH and they usually knew what they were looking for this activity, this proven by their questions,? added Charina.
<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Through the last OCR 2016, Charina also stated that there are 2 UPH students who successfully got away and became Consulting Analyst at McKinsey & Company. One of those who presents is Monica Wangsaputra, Alumni of Double Degree of Information and Accounting System, 2012.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

?I managed to join a consulting team at McKinsey & Company since June 2017, and I managed to get through the OCR activities in 2016 ago. I am really happy to be in McKinsey with such a dynamic working environment and meet many different clients. Indeed, my achievement is also influenced by my educational process at UPH. I was an active student in UPH, who are able to support me, especially in my soft skills. Besides, double degree education gives me the opportunity to get learning from two different sides, namely Information Systems and Accounting, “said Monica.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

McKinsey & Company’s presence in OCR attracted both end-students and UPH alumni. One of them is Nikolas Sulistio, one of the 50 OCR participants who feel the benefits from this event.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

“I think the presence of McKinsey & Company is great. Among Finance students, McKinsey is well known and if I can pass the selection, it becomes a pride for me. OCR provides an opportunity for us, the end year-students to get a chance from the outset to find the career we want. <\/span>It seems rare for universities to conduct such activities, which not only consisted of the recruitment sessions but also provide useful insights for us through seminars at the beginning of the event,? admit Niko, who had served as Chairman of BEM UPH 2016\/2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

All of OCR participants after getting the seminar session from McKinsey & Company, directed to get a written recruitment process. Later in 2-3 weeks ahead, participants will get an announcement email for the acceptance.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Besides OCR from McKinsey & Company, previously Alumni & Career Center <\/span>UPH has also held OCR along with Ernst & Young on September 15, 2017, and PT Indofood on September 29. In the future, OCR will continue on 27 October with Astra Credit Companies, November 3 with PT Visionet, and last on November 16, 2017, with Kelly Intelligence.
