64 High School Students Participated in a Debate Simulation, Held by UPH Karawaci<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/span>The Debate Simulation Workshop which was held by the Marketing and Admission team of UPH on January 21, 2017 at UPH Karawaci, received acknowledgments from many participants. This event was followed by students from various cities such as Tangerang, Jakarta, Lampung, and Purwokerto. Many of the participants said that this debate simulation workshop was very useful for them to enhance their skill and knowledge in debating.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Aside from that, participants were evaluated and were given tips from what they lacked in and what they have been good at in stating their argument. Through an evaluation like this, each student can know what skills they have to develop to become a better debater. They could also gain knowledge on other disciplines which often needs debating skills, especially politics. <\/span><\/p>\n

?This event is really fun, it was organized very well and I could get to know many people too. The workshop itself was really interesting; it started with basic knowledge and ended with a simulation. The simulation is very useful for us who have never experience debating before, moreover, with political and business as the topic, it became an entirely new thing for me.?? ?This workshop is very useful! It gave me lots of new knowledge and information about the debate, starting from the theories, simulations and we can also know the experience of the seniors here. With a simulation like this, the workshop becomes even more effective, because we can straightly know our mistakes and we could be corrected right away. This experience is surely interesting; it?s very useful and practical. ?This event is a great success! I got many new knowledge and experiences which I have never really known before, and I can know the right way to do debate. Surely, I got a variety of information from my teammates. I think that UPH needs to make this kind of events even more often because it creates an opportunity for students like us to learn about debate comprehensively.
