Anne Avantie was present as one of the speakers at Business Talk Show, part of Business Week 2016 series of events, which was held by Student Association of UPH Management on May 13, 2016 at HOPE Building Level 4, UPH Karawaci, Lippo Village, Tangerang. High-minded and loving become Anne?s principle in doing business, and this is what she shared at Business Talk Show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a woman with a well-known clothing brand, Anne Avantie attended and shared her life principles in doing business to participants of Business Talk Show. Already known for the quality and characteristic of her kebaya<\/em>, Anne has also penetrated in ?Ready to Wear? clothing products, and begins to develop her pace in the online world through Anneavantiemall.com. Her desire to facilitate the Community Work Unit (CWU) who faces difficulties in marketing their products drives Anne to provide an opportunity for them to join under the name of her management with an easy way, by registering online at Anneavantiemall.com.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am even referred to as a <\/span>designer, when in fact I can neither sew nor draw. I am only equipped with the ideas planted in my heart. Where through this caring heart and love for others, I am motivated to continue to learn, even from my mistakes, and continue working. Surely this cannot be separated from the entire relief effort mobilized my management team,? Anne said.<\/span> <\/p>\n

On this occasion, Anne also expressed her gratitude for the honor to be trusted as one of the dress designers for Miss Universe since 14 years ago up until now.<\/span><\/p>\n

Related to the questions provided by Cornelia Tjai as moderator about Anne?s response on her work that is often imitated, Anne felt no need for fear. “In doing everything, we must have a great soul, this is a working capital. Do not be afraid or angry when our work is copied. When we get angry, it will kill all the creative energy at our disposal. They can cheat the results of our work, but they all cannot cheat the ideas and thoughts that we have,? Anne conveyed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anne also hopes that all young people are aware that to work in Indonesia, love is needed. She said that when she received various awards, all she remembered was the people around her. Therefore, in her business, Anne offers job vacancies for anyone without the need for an education diploma. Similar to her who can achieve such great results today without pocketing higher education diploma, but with passion, ideas, hard work, and a great soul, she also wanted to give the same opportunity for others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from Anne Avantie, Business Talk Show also presented Prianka Bukit – Founder and CEO of 20FIT, Yopie Suryadi – Founder and CEO of GNEWS. Both of them become the speakers in the first session to discuss the opportunities in establishing a start-up business, followed by a second session with two other speakers, namely Shinta W. Dhanuwardoyo as Founder and CEO of Bubu.com, and Sandiaga Uno as a Social Entrepreneur. Both of them gave an advice that the younger generation must be prepared, trying not only to be a user but also a player.<\/span><\/p>\n
