This thought is realized by lecturers of ?Indonesian Literature? subject who felt the need for creativity touch in the learning process. This becomes the background for the establishment of Literature and Culture Appreciation Performing Arts Night, May 11 2016 at UPH Campus Karawaci, Building D Room 501.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">This event is the end result of the learning process of Indonesian course subject in this term, which is taken by students from 2<sup>nd<\/sup> semester, 4<sup>th<\/sup> semester, 6<sup>th<\/sup> semester, and 8<sup>th<\/sup> semester. During the whole semester, they are prepared to make a performance to better interpret Indonesian literature, whether in monologue poetry, as well as in traditional music. Of the entire &#8216;Indonesian Literature&#8217; class with approximately 18 groups, the related subject lecturers then chose the best performance to eventually be showcased in the appreciation night. A total of five groups were selected to display their interpretations on the works of Indonesian old poetry by Sultan Ali Alisjahbana, middle-period works of Chairil Anwar, and Sapardi Djoko Damono, as well as one group which performed a monologue work. As a matter of fact, on the monologue work, students of Teacher College Christyo and Maria had the honor to perform in collaboration with Denok Kristianti, a renowned monologue artist to perform a creation by W.S. Renda, called &#8216;Panembahan Reso&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">The lecturers of &#8216;Indonesian Literature&#8221; course greatly appreciate the hard work of the students, one of them is Pitaya Rahmadi, a lecturer of &#8216;Indonesian Literature&#8217; UPH.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-38\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uph.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/images_resize_pa_pitaya.jpg\" alt=\"resize_pa_pitaya.JPG\" width=\"183\" height=\"220\" \/>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<td>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">&#8220;We are very pleased and we appreciate the extraordinary work of the students in preparing all of this. The purpose of all this is our gratitude for all the talent, intelligence, and creativity that have been given by God. Furthermore, we also want this event to be a means for the growth and development of students&#8217; appreciation on literature and culture as an attempt of appreciation for the wealth of literature and culture in Indonesia. We, as lecturers, also want to explore this literature appreciation activity from secularity perspective towards the perspective of religiosity. Moreover, we also want to invite students of Teacher College to realize that there are many creative ways to teach, and hopefully in the future when they become teachers, they can pour their creativity to support the learning process,? Pitaya Rahmadi said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">Pitaya stated that through this literature and cultural performances, all parties involved would like to show that eventhough the preparation went through many limitations in energy, time, money, materials, and others, all students of Teacher College kept on trying and were able to deliver outstanding results. This all ultimately aims to declare the glory of God who has bestowed creativity in His people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 14.65pt; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">This appreciation night was warmly welcomed by the audience that filled the auditorium; they were composed of students, lecturers, and staffs of Teacher College, as well as other invited guests from various faculties at UPH. The whole audience was entertained by the performances.
