Acara tersebut juga dihadiri oleh Animator Oscar Herry, Film Director Yandy Laurens, Aktor Verdi Solaiman dan 2D Character Designer Mutia Terian (kiri-kanan). Dengan hadirnya berbagai karya film yang lahir dari industri perfilman, secara perlahan mampu menggiring tingkat kebutuhan konsumen akan film berkualitas. Di sisi lain, untuk menghasilkan karya yang berkualitas industri perfilman membutuhkan <em>human resources<\/em> yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mewujudkan karya-karya terbaik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dalam menjawab tantangan tersebut, sejak tahun 2013 Universitas Pelita Harapan, School of Design, Jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual mengembangkan tiga peminatan atau konsentrasi yaitu Desain Grafis, <em>Cinematography <\/em>dan Animasi. Peminatan <em>Cinematography <\/em>secara akademis mempelajari berbagai bentuk komunikasi visual melalui media audio visual yang bergerak. Mulai dari bagaimana memproduksi sebuah iklan, <em>music video, art film<\/em>, maupun <em>short<\/em> <em>film <\/em>dengan berbagai genre. Sedangkan pada peminatan Animasi, mempelajari bagaimanamembuat sebuah karya animasi yang berkualitas termasuk diantaranya <em>animation showreel,<\/em> <em>character design, 3d modeling <\/em>dan sebagainya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Melihat perkembangan tersebut, peminatan <em>Cinematography<\/em> dan Animasi, DKV UPH menggelar acara <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><em>?IDIOM &#8211; Form of Expression?<\/em> yang bertujuan memperkenalkan <em>cinematography<\/em> dan animasi UPH kepada para mahasiswa baru, orang tua mahasiswa serta kalangan industri perfilman. Melalui acara ini diharapkan dapat membentuk sinergi yang saling menguntungkan bagi dunia akademis dan industri. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut UPH mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemaxxtheater.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cinemaxx ? Form of Expression?<\/em> yang diadakan selama dua hari, 14-15 September 2015 pukul 16.00-21.00 ini adalah <strong><em>Movie Screening<\/em><\/strong>, yaitu pemutaran film dan animasi karya mahasiswa <em>Cinematography<\/em> dan Animasi Jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual, School of Design UPH, <strong><em>Academic Showcase<\/em>, <\/strong>menampilkan karya dari School of Design, Jurusan Desain Interior, Desain Produk, Arsitektur dan Desain Komunikasi Visual, dan <strong><em>Talkshow bersama profesional film maker<\/em><\/strong>, Henky Solaiman (Senior Aktor, Produser dan Sutradara), Verdi Solaiman (Aktor), Yandy Laurens (Film Director), Oscar Herry (Animator) dan Mutia Terian (2D Character Designer), yang membagikan pengalamannya kepada mahasiswa DKV UPH dalam menggeluti industri perfilman dan animasi di Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">J. Baptisa Anton, Ketua Konsentrasi <em>Cinematography<\/em> DKV UPH mengatakan bahwa acara ini digelar tiap tahun, dan sebagai ajang publikasi kepada masyarakat tentang karya mahasiswa UPH. Anton melanjutkan, kali ini, pihaknya mengangkat tema Idiom, yang artinya merupakan bentuk ekspresi, menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dan penonton yang hadir bebas untuk mengartikan ekspresi dengan berbagai bentuk pendekatan dan cara pandang yang beragam. Selain itu adanya kepercayaan dari industri bidang musik untuk menggarap beberapa music video untuk dijadikan sebagai Official Music Video, yang diantaranya adalah ?Jamaica Cafe?, ?Serious Rock Band?, ?Bayu Risa?, ?Gribs?, ?Iam Maulana?, ?Komedi Musik?. ?Terakhir, dua mahasiswa kami pun lolos dalam ajang festival film Balinale International Festival yang akan berlangsung pada 28-30 September mendatang. Kekuatan dari karya mahasiswa kami terletak pada gambarnya yang bagus dan itu ciri khas kami,? tambahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Pada UPH Film Screening yang diadakan di studio 4 Cinemax Maxx Box Lippo Village ini merupakan terobosan baru, dimana karya mahasiswa dapat ditayangkan di layar lebar dan diharapkan ke depan kerjasama dapat lebih ditingkatkan. Ada sebanyak &nbsp;40 film karya mahasiswa yang ditayangkan selama 2 hari, berupa model animasi, <em>music video<\/em>, film pendek dan <em>public service announcement<\/em> (PSA). Minat penonton sangat tinggi terlihat dari terisinya hampir seluruh kursi dan para penonton tidak hanya datang dari kalangan fakultas, mahasiwa dan keluargnya saja, tapi juga masyarakat umum.(fc)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Berikut ini beberapa testimoni dari pihak yang pernah bekerja sama dengan mahasiswa <em>Cinematography<\/em> UPH:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">?Pengambilan gambarnya tuh bagus banget, bisa tangkap sinar-sinar, efkenya juga bagus. Pokonya keren deh. Pada saat kami lemes, mereka justru semangat. Waktu lihat mereka seperti itu, jujur saya dan tim juga jadi semangat lagi. Hasilnya juga saya sangat suka, mereka bekerja sangat <em>all out<\/em>.
