Until year 2015, there are 3.2 million orphans and 5.4 million waifs in Indonesia. They received not enough love and care from parents, who eventually involve in crimes and end up in juvenile prisons or have purposeless life. <\/p>\n

Until year 2015, there are 3.2 million orphans and 5.4 million waifs in Indonesia. They received not enough love and care from parents, who eventually involve in crimes and end up in juvenile prisons or have purposeless life. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mission Youth for Christ (MYC), a youth ministry organization under Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan (YPPH) looked at that condition and tried to turn it out as a program called Easter on the Road 2015, a remembrance of Passover or the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross to redeem men which was the realization of God?s love to the world. This program?s objective is to tell the ?good news? and share love, which had been given by Jesus Christ on the cross to the orphanages and juvenile prisons.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are approximately 400 students from various university majors who join as volunteers to share to more than 2000 kids from 50 orphanages, learning centers and juvenile prison around Tangerang and Jakarta.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Partnering with Spiritual Formation for Students (SFS) Universitas Pelita Harapan, this program has planned to be held for four times on April 2014 from 11, 12, 18, and 19. The program is attractive such as praise and worship, games, drama, craft making, sharing about Passover and souvenirs as gifts. This program was designed, in fact, to tell the ?good news? about the Savior who saves everybody.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moreover, this program is an effective method to spread the gospel to the kids in order to face the challenges these days. In addition, this program would expect the kids to live on the right track since young and to have an absolute life purpose, so in their adult phase, they would turn around of that track.<\/span><\/p>\n
