Indonesian International Education & Training Expo 2015\/INADIDAC Expo 2015 was held<\/span> again<\/span> on <\/span>February 5-8,<\/span> 2015 at Jakarta Convention Center, Hall B. Th<\/span>is<\/span> largest exhibition in the education sector in Indonesia is held every year<\/span>,<\/span> supported <\/span>by <\/span>Directorate General of Higher Education<\/span>– Ministry of Education and Culture, Jakarta Provincial Education Department, and related associations. Through this exhibition, visitors gain the opportunity to dig up information on leading educational institutions in Indonesia and <\/span>overseas<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Universitas Pelita Harapan rejoined as one of the 110 participants in this exhibition and has routinely become a participant since 4 years ago. In this exhibition, UPH offered scholarship programs. “Actually, our scholarship program is already closed, but specifically for this event, we reopen the scholarship program for 17 majors,” said Friendly, UPH Student Consultant. In addition, other useful programs were also offered to increase people?s knowledge on the departments available in UPH, such as Summer Holiday and Dean’s Talk.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

UPH?s<\/span> presence <\/span>was quite attractive to the<\/span> visitors who are generally high school students from various high schools in Greater Jakarta and surrounding <\/span>cities<\/span>. <\/span>In 4 days, UPH?s<\/span>booth<\/span> was visited by more than 10,000 students. Enthusiasts who are interested in applying <\/span>at UPH were also plenty<\/span>. <\/span>UPH Liaison Officer Team<\/span> swiftly c<\/span>a<\/span>me to visitors and provide<\/span>d<\/span> an introduction <\/span>of UPH<\/span>. “Visitors who want to know more about <\/span>UPH<\/span> will be delivered to <\/span>UPH?s booth<\/span> and will be served by the Student Consultant <\/span>to be given UPH product knowledge<\/span>. If visitors are interested in applying, <\/span>they<\/span> can immediately take the registration form for free at the Admission section,”<\/span>explained Christina Eris,<\/span> UPH<\/span> Student Consultant.<\/span><\/p>\n

UPH?s booth became increasingly crowded with the presence of Albert Einstein icon clown. Visitors who took a photograph together with Albert Einstein and uploaded it to their social media will receive interesting merchandises. “Every day, UPH?s booth was visited by thousands of visitors. As an example, on the third day, UPH?s booth was visited by more than 3000 people, both by high school students from various cities and also the parents,” said Friendly.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I often hear<\/span> about UPH<\/span> from television and <\/span>aside from that, UPH<\/span> is also very famous for <\/span>its good education quality <\/span>and complete facilities. In addition, I am also interested in <\/span>the <\/span>Food Technology<\/span> major<\/span> and<\/span> there are only a few<\/span> universities <\/span>who<\/span>offer<\/span> this department. So I choose <\/span>UPH<\/span>. <\/span>As far as I know, there are a lot of<\/span> successful alumni<\/span> from UPH<\/span>. Moreover, <\/span>the s<\/span>tudent consultant<\/span>s<\/span>here are very kind<\/span>. “<\/span><\/p>\n

“My <\/span>sibling was an UPH student, majoring in the<\/span> Department of Civil Engineering. Now he<\/span> has<\/span> already graduated and <\/span>successfully gains a<\/span> promising<\/span> job<\/span>. So<\/span>,<\/span> I<\/span> become<\/span> more convinced to take<\/span> the registration<\/span> form and try to <\/span>enroll at<\/span> UPH <\/span>in<\/span> the same major”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I <\/span>already know about UPH from my seniors<\/span> and <\/span>from<\/span> social media<\/span>, such as<\/span> Instagram. <\/span>In my opinion, UPH is cool<\/span>. <\/span>Since<\/span> I want to be an entrepreneur<\/span>,<\/span> so I <\/span>am interested<\/span> to take the Management<\/span> major<\/span>.
