Boromarajonani College of Nursing Chiang Mai (BCNC), Thailand were doing a comparative study to Faculty of Nursing (FoN) UPH from 26 May to 7 June 2014. <\/p>\n

Boromarajonani College of Nursing Chiang Mai (BCNC), Thailand were doing a comparative study to Faculty of Nursing (FoN) UPH from 26 May to 7 June 2014. BCNC Thailand was represented by two lecturers, which are Dr. Pimjai Aunban and Aj. Sumitporn Chomchan, along with five students, which are Sawitri Sunthon, Pimonpun Rakngeon, Apinya Inti, and Manus Matthantong. <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

?Actually this visitation is a form of alliance between UPH and BCNC Thailand which was accommodate by AIPNI (Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia). This is the best time to visit FoN UPH because the students of UPH were doing their professional program in the community for 2 months. The guests from BCNC Thailand were also involved in the activities that the students were doing in the last 2 weeks. BCNC itself has a similar community like what we has in Indonesia, where a lot of lower class people are low in health awareness,? explained Roswita Sitompul, Head of Proffesional Program FoN UPH.<\/span> <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Community Nursing Service is a part of Ners professional program. This is the third year FoN UPH had proceed their professional program. The students were told to served a community at Binong, in Tangerang. In fact, they had succeded to gave the health services to 6 different community there. This year, the professional program were done at RW 3 and RW 5 (in Galuga and Cijengir) because the condition of the community are still unfortunate and need help especially in health. For two weeks, the students and also the lecturer of BCNC Thailand were involved on the activities that FoN UPH students did, such as a visit to Puskesmas, Posbindu, Possyando, and Family Nursing at Binong. <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the activities, Fon UPH students were giving socialization to improve the community awareness in each individual about the importance of health and providing health facilities such as Bioporis channel. The students and the lecturers of BCNC had the opportunity to give socialization about healthy exercise using towel (Towel exercise). Besides that, both sides of the parties had a discussion about health services in the community. (ca\/pris)<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
