FIK (Faculty of Computer Science) held a prestigious event called FIK Awards. <\/p>\n

FIK (Faculty of Computer Science) held a prestigious event called FIK Awards. This event is the first ever that is made tribute to the FIK faculty members and students. ?The main purpose is mainly about giving appreciation to the FIK students, lectures, and staffs so they are motivated to work harder. For example: the students that produce innovative and applicative projects will be given appreciation, therefore they are motivated to contribute more and doing a better work,? said Claresta Janice, student of Informatics System as the coordinator of FIK Awards. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

FIK Awards 2014 is the peak event, which closed the whole series of events of Falcon Project 5. Claresta said that FIK awards will be given to the three majors under Faculty of Computer Science(Informatics System, Informatics, and Computer Technology) . <\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

This event was held at Mini Grand Chapel, Hope Building UPH on 9 May 2014, started from 18.00-22.00. First, the appreciation was given to the winner of Falcon Project competitions, and continued by appreciation given to young technopreneurship C.A.R.E.S (Center of Applied Research Science), an appreciation to students which create application or software for IT solution at industrial field. C.A.R.E.S is a division managed by FIK UPH to be the bridge between academic and industry world in doing the research of information technology. This division also works together with Hypermart, Siloam Hospital, in IT development.  <\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The winners were determined by the vote that the FIK students chose towards the name that had been listed on the nominations. Through FIK Award, Claresta hope that in the future, students, lecturers, and also staffs will do their job better and hold their responsibility to make FIK UPH name to be more well known.<\/span><\/p>\n
