This seminar is one of Communication Avenue 2014 programs that highlighted the theme of ?Communicate Your Creation?. The seminar took place at Building D 502 from 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. and opened for both UPH students and general public.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-145\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uph.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/images_news_2014_03_img_8279.jpg\" alt=\"img 8279\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Fun atmosphere during the seminar<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Raditya Dika skillfully presented a seemingly serious topic into a lighter one with his light jokes that he told amid his seminar. Even though he often had jokes with the audience, he still pointed out important information, especially for students who plan to enter media world as their career.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt; line-height: 115%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">For <\/span><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">him, the essential thing for a success is passion, to like what we are doing. By liking it, we will try to put the best effort with our own will. This strong determination will help us to get bigger opportunities. He also added his opinion that we have to stay consistent to the image that we present<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> to public.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In the Q&amp;A session, most of the audiences were curious if comedic act has burdened him in some point, for example when running out of ideas or bored with just showing the same image over and over. Answering the question, he answered ?Personally, there is only one key to tell jokes. That is, do not try to be funny. Funny jokes come naturally. If you try to be funny, there is a chance that you will not be funny at all. Let?s say that I try to share some of my worry to all of you. Then, it turns out that all of you also share the same worry, which you can relate to. That is why, that worries will turn out to be funny naturally.?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Participants were not only university students but also junior high and high school students. Even some of the students were accompanied by their parents. Among them was Alex, a junior high school student, who asked how to create a lively atmosphere on stage. Dika enthusiastically replied, ?You can try to join in a stand-up comedy or participate in school events that involve a lot of public speaking. But still, I think the most effective way, and yet the cruelest one also, is to learn from stand-up comedy. It already covers a lot of skills that you need.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">After Raditya Dika shared all of his tips and experiences, at the end of his seminar, 3 participants with the best questions received goodie bags from Telkomsel as the official sponsor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Before closing the seminar, Raditya Dika took a moment to promote the newest film directed by him, Marmut Merah Jambu that will show in cinema this year, together with his another film, Malam Minggu Miko.
