?We choose the theme ?reflect your beauty because we want to inspire UPH female students to show their true beauty. The ?true beauty? here means brain, beauty and behavior,? explained Sharon, head of MUS 2014 committee, at the opening event of Miss UPH Scholar 2014 ? top 20 nominations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The event on Thursday (14\/2), coincided with Valentine day, was one of Miss UPH Scholar 2014 pre-event series. Taking place at Caf? of Art, Food Junction, UPH, 40 candidates for Miss UPH Scholar showed off their best impression to enter the next stage, the top 20 finalists. Besides giving oration, the candidates also performed in the Fashion Show session with dresses by Repetio, Denim and Reality, and Chic Simple. These three upcoming brands in Indonesia fashion world are all created by UPH alumni.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 3-hours pre-event, from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m., had attracted many students. Besides watching the candidates in action, they were also entertained with music performance by students? band and Deasy Juwita (Cici Jakarta 2012) solo performance. Deasy Juwita sang ?Beautiful? by Christina Aguilera to close the Miss UPH Scholar 2014 pre-event.<\/p>\n
