Graduation is not the Omega point for the graduates, instead, it is the Alpha point; in other words, graduation is the starting point for the graduates to attain their dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That was what UPH Founder James Riady said on his speech in the second session of UPH Commencement Ceremony XXIV UPH. Even, James added, every day should be the starting point. This is not without reason, with the knowledge and experience that the graduates have, they can begin anytime to build this nation to a brighter future.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the growth of Indonesia and world economy is getting rapid, getting a job or establishing a company easily is not a surprise anymore. ?I am sure that ? with your family and UPH education ? you have stunning skills that can get you a job or even establish a company,? James said. ?But, when you return here again, ten years in the future, do not be proud because of your prosperity, name, position, or even power but be proud because we can see and feel honored for the alumni who are already successful in this world and gain a pure achievement,? he added. This statement is to direct the graduates? attention to many problems that the world is experiencing such as moral degradation, war, violence, divorce and others. He hoped that the alumni can deliver positive impacts to their family, surroundings, country, and even the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore, James encouraged the students to take part in solving those problems. He also hoped that, besides being skillful and success in their own respective work fields, the graduates could lead, make a good and proper family, live a harmonious life as well as love each other and create the next nation generation who follow God?s plan.
