{"id":176135,"date":"2013-06-25T08:13:20","date_gmt":"2013-06-25T08:13:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uph.edu\/2013\/06\/25\/angkat-janji-nurse-ajn-2013-universitas-pelita-harapan-2\/"},"modified":"2013-06-25T08:13:20","modified_gmt":"2013-06-25T08:13:20","slug":"angkat-janji-nurse-ajn-2013-universitas-pelita-harapan-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uph.edu\/id\/2013\/06\/25\/angkat-janji-nurse-ajn-2013-universitas-pelita-harapan-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The Oath Pledge and Inauguration of Nurses 2013 Universitas Pelita Harapan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) held an oath pledge and inauguration for 57 graduates who have completed a professional practice program. <\/p>\n<div>\n<table style=\"width: 700px;\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"2\" cellpadding=\"2\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-49\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uph.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/images_news_2013_06_1048152_10200750558023602_1199650203_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"463\" \/><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><span>Faculty of Nursing<\/span> and Allied Health Sciences <span>Universitas Pelita<\/span> <span>Harapan<\/span> <span>(<\/span>UPH) <span>held<\/span> an oath pledge and inauguration for the <span>57<\/span> <span>graduates<\/span> <span>who<\/span> <span>have completed the<\/span> <span>professional practice<\/span> <span>program<\/span>. <span>This<\/span> <span>program<\/span> <span>is a<\/span> <span>professional practice<\/span> <span>requirements<\/span> <span>for<\/span> <span>nursing graduates<\/span> <span>to get into the<\/span> <span>nurse profession<\/span> where they are<span> practicing<\/span> <span>as a nurse<\/span> <span>for a year<\/span> <span>in the hospital<\/span>. <span>In<\/span> <span>this<\/span> <span>program,<\/span> <span>the<\/span>y<span> are<\/span> <span>placed<\/span> <span>in<\/span> <span>Siloam<\/span> <span>Hospitals<\/span> <span>Group<\/span> <span>and<\/span> several <span>state<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span> <span>hospitals who have<\/span> <span>partnered with<\/span> <span>Faculty of Nursing<\/span> and Allied Health Sciences UPH.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><br \/> <span>These<\/span> <span>57<\/span> <span>graduates<\/span> <span>consists<\/span> <span>of<\/span> <span>36<\/span> <span>graduate<\/span> <span>Entry<\/span> <span>to<\/span> <span>Practice<\/span> <span>(<\/span>ETP), a nursing program for high students where some of them are given scholarships by SHG; <span>and<\/span> <span>21<\/span> <span>graduate<\/span> <span>programs<\/span> <span>Conversion<\/span> <span>Class<\/span> <span>(<\/span>CC), a nursing extention program for SHG nurses to attain their bachelor degree. 27 of 36 <span>ETP<\/span> <span>graduates, who earned<\/span> <span>scholarships<\/span> from <span>SHG,<\/span><span> are<\/span><span> now<\/span> <span>working<\/span> <span>at<\/span> <span>SHG<\/span>. <span>Three<\/span> <span>best graduates for this<\/span><span> batch<\/span> <span>are<\/span>: <span>Joan<\/span> <span>Christina<\/span> <span>with GPA 3.78<\/span>, <span>Herlina<\/span> <span>Meilina<\/span> <span>D.<\/span> <span>with GPA<\/span> <span>3.78<\/span> <span>and<\/span> <span>Maria<\/span> <span>Anita<\/span> <span>Sari<\/span> <span>with GPA<\/span> <span>3.77<\/span>, and the <span>three of them are<\/span> <span>CC<\/span> <span>program graduates<\/span>. Despite the lectures and tasks were a lot, I love studying there. The library really supported my study. Because I was the 2nd generation in FON UPH, which still fairly new, there were many expatriate giving lectures. But, it improved my skill in English. In the future, I want to continue studying nursing in the master degree or to become a lecturer in the nursing field.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Catharina Guinda<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">It was a great experience, I learned a lot about nursing. Although working in nursing field is hard, I am grateful for the lecturers that always support me.
