Service Learning Community (SLC) kembali mengadakan projek sosial yang bertemakan Let?s Have Some Fun, bekerja sama dengan Yayasan Usaha Mulia (YUM) <\/p>\n

Service Learning Community (SLC)<\/span><\/em> kembali mengadakan projek sosial yang bertemakan Let?s Have Some Fun<\/em>, bekerja sama dengan Yayasan Usaha Mulia (YUM) pada hari Senin, 30 April 2012. <\/span>YUM bertujuan meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat di sekitarnya melalui bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, dan pengembangan komunitas. Kegiatan SLC ini berlokasi di Desa Cibadak, Cipanas. Acara dengan tema Let?s Have Some Fun 2012<\/em> yang diketuai oleh Lady Diana (Teknologi Pangan 2010) ini, terbagi dalam beberapa kegiatan berdasarkan usia peserta, yaitu kegiatan untuk siswa\/i kelas 1-3 SD, siswa\/i kelas 4-6 SD, siswa\/i SMP, dan para ibu.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Acara dimulai dengan kegiatan bersama siswa-siswi kelas 1-3 SD, seperti bernyanyi bersama, lomba menggambar dengan tema keluargaku, serta bermain permainan edukatif seperti puzzle dan permainan menebak rasa buah. Kegiatan lainnya yang tidak kalah menarik adalah kegiatan membuat bola-bola coklat, yang melibatkan siswa-siswi binaan YUM yang duduk di kelas 4-6 SD. Semua peserta terlihat sangat antusias membuat bola coklat tersebut dan tidak sabar untuk segera mencicipi bola-bola coklat buatan mereka. Bola-bola coklat ini juga dihias untuk kemudian dilombakan. ?Penilaian lomba tidak hanya ditentukan pada kreatifitas anak-anak dalam membuat dan menghias bola-bola cokelat buatan mereka sendiri, tetapi juga kebersihan mereka selama proses pembuatannya?, kata salah satu panitia lomba. Setelah acara pemberian hadiah kepada pemenang lomba, saat yang ditunggu-tunggu pun tiba, waktunya menyantap bola-bola coklat buatan sendiri. ?Hmmmm? enak..?, komentar salah satu peserta ketika melahap bola-bola coklat buatannya. <\/span>

Tidak hanya untuk siswa-siswi yang duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar, mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Service Learning Community<\/em> ini pun menyiapkan kegiatan untuk siswa\/i SMP. Sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka, siswa\/i SMP ini diberikan pengetahuan mengenai Love and Dating. <\/em>Mereka diajak untuk menilai apakah mereka mengerti tentang definisi cinta, apakah mereka sebenarnya sudah siap untuk berpacaran, apa tujuan berpacaran, hal-hal apa saja yang patut ihindari, serta hal-hal lainnya seputar pergaulan lawan jenis di kalangan anak muda. Untuk lebih memeriahkan suasana dan mengukur sejauh mana para siswa menangkap materi yang diberikan, diadakan pula lomba membuat poster Love and Dating <\/em>dari bahan potongan majalah.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Untuk para ibu, panitia mengadakan kegiatan demo memasak dan seminar parenting<\/em>. Untuk kegiatan demo masak, Mahasiswa\/i UPH mendemokan cara memasak nugget dari jamur tiram. Selanjutnya, seminar parenting skill<\/em> yang bertema ?Semua Anak Cerdas?, disampaikan oleh Ibu Kusuma Wardhani (Service Learning Section Head), berisi penyuluhan kepada para ibu mengenai bermacam kecerdasan majemuk yang dipunyai oleh seorang anak.<\/span><\/p>\n

            <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Selain kegiatan pelatihan tersebut, perwakilan dari Career Development and Alumni Services (CDAC) yakni Ibu Maria Natalia Satyarti (Manager CDAC) dan Ibu Dharamanita (Section Head Internship) juga memberikan konsultasi kepada staff Yayasan Usaha Mulia mengenai peran yang dapat dijalankan oleh yayasan untuk membantu pencarian pekerjaan bagi masyarakat yang dilayani. <\/span><\/p>\n

            <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Acara berjalan dengan lancar. Para peserta yang hadir terlihat sangat senang dan antusias, terlihat dari keceriaan dan keaktifan mereka dalam mengikuti setiap kegiatan yang ada. <\/span>Mahasiswa Service Learning Community<\/em> UPH juga merasakan kegembiraan yang sama. ?Acaranya seru, asik, menyenangkan, tapi tertantang untuk ngobrol dan mengajak bermain anak-anak kecil terutama anak TK yang pendiam. Jadi berefleksi, kalau dibandingin sama hidup mereka yang sederhana dan bisa hidup tanpa teknologi sebanyak yang saya punya, rasanya jadi bersyukur sama keadaan diri sendiri? <\/em>kata Vanny Angelia salah satu mahasiswa peserta Let?s Have Some Fun<\/em> ini. <\/span>Sambil belajar, mereka juga menikmati kegiatan pelayanan mereka serta interaksi dengan masyarakat. <\/span>Sampai jumpa di acara Service Learning Community selanjutnya.
