This event was organized to encourage young people to spend their time wisely by participating in a volunteering project.<\/p>\n<p>Three speakers were invited to share their experiences in volunteering. They were Ade Darmawansyah Putra (Advisor of Youth Empowering), Jonathan Christian Susanto (Marketing Communication Director of Young on Top CA), and Sirly Widyaningrum (Marketing Communication Director of Garuda Youth Community). These young peole shared their experiences in participating various programs and organizations voluntarily.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan told the participants to start from small things, by participating in school organizations. ?Don?t be afraid if you don?t have any experience. You have to have the willingness to learn,? he explained. He also mentioned that a person must have commitment in whatever he does. ?Find what you love and commit to it,? he added. Sirly also said that we could contribute in many ways.<\/p>\n<p>Geviana, the head of the committee, hoped that the event could raise the awareness of young people to take part in volunteering. ?The event is divided into two sessions; the seminar and the workshop. At the workshop, the participants will be asked to create a project based on their own passion.
