Mulyono, dan Andrei Toar Marentek dan moderator Roy Rondonuwu.<br \/><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<td>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\n<div>Communication Avenue, as the biggest annual event of Communication Science Department of UPH, was held for the sixth time on Monday, March 5th 2012 until Friday, March 9th 2012. The theme for Communication Avenue 2012 was Indonesia Innovative: ?Indovative : Be inspired, be captivated.? Livia Kartika, as the head of committee said that through that theme, Communication Avenue 2012 tried to encourage the young generation to make Indonesia as an inspiration in developing various communication messages innovatively.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>One of the competitions that newly held on Communication Avenue 2012, which tried to hone the young generation?s creativity in developing various communication messages innovatively was Neon Award. Neon Award was consisted of 3 competitions; Guerilla Marketing, TV Commercial, and Print Advertisement. Coming out as the first winners were the team from UPH for TV Commercial, also team from UPH for Guerilla Marketing, and team from Bunda Mulia University for Print Advertisement. Besides those competitions, there was an exhibition themed ?Indonesia of Ideas?, which contained various ideas about Indonesia from the visitors. The participants of Neon Award said that they were really excited about the competition, because there was rarely a competition like this in the level of university. They also said they would participate if the competition was held again. Not only had the participants, the lecturers from other department also said that this was a great idea, especially the TV Commercial, which showed at Lobby Building B and Lobby Building D.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Besides Neon Award, a competition that also newly held was Call For Paper Competition, themed ?The Role of Young Generation in Presenting Indonesia To The International.? The other competitions that were held annually were News Presenting Competition, Radio Announcing Competition, and photography competition (this year in cooperation with Iphonesia). There was also a seminar with 3 speakers from different background, themed ?Beyond Natural Resources and Cultural Clich??. The speakers were H.E. Bagas Hapsoro (Deputy of Secretary General of ASEAN), Drs. Damas Bambang Mulyono, Dipl. Broad. Jour. (Head of Marketing Communication Department Binus University), and Sdr. Andrei Toar Marentek from Foreign Ministry. Deborah N.
