Konflik antara Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (POLRI) dan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) yang terungkap kepada publik melalui media massa menjadi berita hangat dalam kurun waktu minggu ini.<\/p>\n<p>Berangkat dari kondisi ini, Program Pascasarjana Universitas Pelita Harapan mengadakan seminar yang berjudul ?The Conflict between POLRI against KPK and the Impact on Business Climate in Indonesia? (Konflik antara POLRI melawan KPK dan Dampaknya pada Iklim Bisnis di Indonesia) di Hotel Aryaduta Jakarta, Rabu (18\/11).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Seminar ini menampilkan empat pembicara dari lingkaran bisnis, Sofyan Wanandi (Ketua APINDO), Chris Kanter (Wakil Ketua KADIN), John Palinggi (Ketua ARDIN) dan Adrianus Mooy (Penasehat Senior UPH). Selama seminar ini berjalan, dialog terbuka dimoderasi oleh Tjipta Lesmana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-20\" src=\"https:\/\/olduph.verken.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/images_news_2009_11_seminar-mcomm2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"579\" height=\"351\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong><em>Seminar.<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Menurut Chris Kanter, meski langkah yang telah diambil oleh pemerintah mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat, namun korupsi masih dianggap sebagai masalah terbesar ketiga di negara ini. ?Terlepas dari apa yang telah dilakukan, dilihat dari iklim bisnis, sistem yudisial kita, masih jauh dari iklim bisnis yang nyaman,? kata Kanter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sebagai seorang investor, Kanter melihat korupsi masih bertahan di Indonesia baik itu di KPK, POLRI maupun kejaksaan. ?Pemerintah tidak memerintah, namun hanya mengapungkan masalahnya. Hal yang terpenting adalah investor perlu kepastian legal, ? kata Kanter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Demikian pula dengan Mooy yang mengatakan konflik hanya memperpanjang ketidakjelasan legal. Ia mengumpamakan korupsi seperti kanker. Jadi, bagaimana melawan korupsi tanpa menghancurkan penduduknya yang baik? Karena itu, menurut Mooy, yang pernah bertugas sebagai Gubernur Bank Indonesia, pemerintah harus mengambil keputusan cepat untuk menciptakan kenyamanan di sektor ekonomi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sofyan Wanadi juga menganggap masalah KPK-POLRI menghancurkan tiap tingkatan ekonomi. ?Dalam situasi semacam ini, saya akan menahan diri untuk menanam investasi.
