Pernyataan ini disampaikan oleh Profesor Jonathan Soemirat, professor di Business School Universtias Pelita Harapan, di seminar yang berjudul ?Knowledge-Based Economy? (Ekonomi berdasarkan Ilmu Pengetahuan) yang diselenggarakan oleh Business School UPH, Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia ? KADIN, dan Microsoft di Hotel Aryaduta, Jakarta pada hari Rabu (18\/11)<\/p>\n<p>Ia menyebutkan hal pertama yang harus ditingkatkan sehingga Indonesia dapat menjalankan ekonomi berdasarkan ilmu pengetahuan untuk memperluas investasi modal manusia. ?Caranya adalah dengan memulai peningkatan sistem pendidikan, harus ada universitas yang bagus dan semua hal ini akan dapat menghasilkan ekonomi kecepatan tinggi,? katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Data tenaga kerja Indonesia menunjukkan hasil yang cukup mengkhawatirkan, ?Lebih dari 50% tenaga kerja kita hanya lulusan SD. Hanya dua sampai tiga juta penduduk Indonesia yang mendapat pendidikan di universitas. Apa kita dapat mengimplementasikan ekonomi berbasis ilmu pengetahuan dengan kondisi seperti ini? Tidak mungkin bisa!?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Setelah menambahnya investasi modal manusia, maka bisnis tanpa gangguan internasional dapat diciptakan. ?Kita bisa mengikuti contoh Nokia dan Cina. Handito Juwono, <span>Chairman of Standing Education, Training and Apprenticeship KADIN, menamakan langkah tersebut lima panah untuk perkembangan bisnis baru. Lima panah tersebut adalah pengertian, pemikiran kreatif, pendorongan pedal, mempercepat dan mencari.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">?Pengertian berarti kita mengerti dulu bagaimana situasi kompetisi. Bisa dimulai dengan mengkhayal, bisnis macam apa yang ingin dijalani, namun masih berdasarkan kemauan anda. Lalu rasionalkan mimpi tersebut dalam cara yang kreatif (pemikiran kreatif), hasilnya adalah rencana bisnis. Lalu dorong pedalnya, jalankan rencanya. Pada titik tertentu, anda harus berani tancap gas (mempercepat). Terakhir, cobalah untuk mengembangkan atau menciptakan bisnis baru (mencari),? jelas Handito.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Handito Juwono.&nbsp; <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Sependapat dengan dua pembicara sebelumnya, Tony Seno Hartono, Chief Technology Officer Microsoft Indonesia, menjelaskan bagaimana teknologi informasi dapat mempercepat keberhasilan ekonomi. ?Keberhasilan dapat dipercepat dengan TI karena ketika semua sistem sudah otomatis, perusahaan tidak akan mengalami kesulitan ketika figur kuncinya pensiun dari perusahaan,? katanya.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Teknologi komunikasi bisa menjadi fondasi strategis untuk perusahaan.
