Jurusan Teknik Sipil Universitas Pelita Harapan mengadakan KOMPETISI STAEDTLER SPAGHETTI BRIDGE yang ke lima kalinya. Kompetisi ini diikuti oleh 53 tim dari pelajar SMA seJabodetabek.<\/p>\n<p>?Kami menyelenggarakan acara ini sehingga akan ada lebih banyak lagi para pelajar SMA yang tertarik dengan Teknik Sipil. Karena itu, tujuan utamanya adalah bagaimana merancang acara ini agar menyenangkan tapi efektik untuk menarik minat mereka,? kata Elisabeth Jacinta, mahasiswa Teknik Sipil 2008, ketua komite.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-2\" src=\"https:\/\/olduph.verken.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/images_news_2009_11_bu-guru.jpg\" alt=\"images\/jsnews\/bu%20guru.jpg\" width=\"116\" height=\"140\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Menurut Paulina, guru fisika SMAK Kalam Kudus II, pemenang pertama dari kompetisi Spaghetti Bridge 2008, teori titik keseimbangan (fisika) dapat digunakan untuk memperkirakan ketahanan dari suatu jembatan.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Ansoy Setiawan dan Anastasia Gunawan (SMAK Kalam Kudus II), yang merupakan penerima beasiswa di jurusan Teknik Sipil 2009 yang tahun lalu mewakili sekolah mereka di kompetisi ini, setuju degan pendapat tersebut. ?Hal terpenting adalah harus sering diuji. Utamakan lengkungan, pengerat yang kuat (lem), tumpuan, dan ketahanan jembatan itu sendri.
