Kondisi ini mendorong kebutuhan akan talenta kuliner yang tidak hanya kreatif dan inovatif, tetapi juga memahami standar profesional dan prinsip halal yang berdaya saing global. Menjawab hal tersebut, <strong>Fakultas <em>Hospitality<\/em> dan Pariwisata Universitas Pelita Harapan (FHospar UPH) <\/strong>menjadi tuan rumah <strong>Halal Chef Competition 2026<\/strong> pada 27 April 2026. Kompetisi ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian <strong>SHAFARA (Syiar Halal Fair) 2026 x Digiwara Festival<\/strong>, sebuah ajang yang menggabungkan promosi gaya hidup halal dengan penguatan ekonomi dan keuangan digital berbasis syariah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan yang didukung penuh oleh <strong>Bank Indonesia Provinsi Banten<\/strong> ini menghadirkan 10 peserta dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari siswa SMA\/SMK, santri pondok pesantren, hingga mahasiswa dari berbagai daerah di Provinsi Banten. Mengusung tema \u201cFrom Local to Global\u201d, kompetisi ini menjadi wadah bagi generasi muda untuk menunjukkan kreativitas dalam mengolah makanan halal yang inovatif, higienis, dan memiliki nilai jual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai tuan rumah, FHospar UPH menyediakan fasilitas lab kitchen \u201cSalt &amp; Light\u201d berstandar internasional yang dirancang untuk mendukung praktik kuliner profesional sekaligus menunjang jalannya kompetisi sesuai standar regional maupun nasional. Seluruh area dapur juga dipastikan terjaga higienitasnya serta dilengkapi peralatan yang memadai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vriandi Hapsara, S.Tr.Par., M.Par.,<\/strong> Dosen FHospar UPH sekaligus koordinator lapangan kegiatan, menilai bahwa keterlibatan FHospar UPH dalam kompetisi ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen kampus dalam menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri dan memberikan bekal nyata bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadapi dunia profesional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMahasiswa tidak hanya berkesempatan untuk berpartisipasi sebagai peserta, tetapi juga mendapatkan pengalaman berharga dalam membangun relasi dengan sesama peserta dan pelaku industri. Selain itu, mereka belajar mengasah kemampuan manajemen waktu serta menyelesaikan masalah di bawah tekanan kompetisi,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senada dengan hal tersebut, <strong>Triani Susanti<\/strong> selaku Kepala Tim Kebijakan Ekonomi dan Keuangan Daerah (KEKDA) Bank Indonesia Provinsi Banten menekankan bahwa Halal Chef Competition 2026 tidak hanya berfokus pada keterampilan memasak, tetapi juga memperkuat pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep halal sebagai bagian penting dalam membangun industri kuliner yang berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMelalui kegiatan ini, kami berharap dapat melahirkan talenta-talenta muda yang tidak hanya unggul dalam keterampilan memasak, tetapi juga memiliki pemahaman dan komitmen terhadap prinsip-prinsip halal, sehingga mampu berkontribusi dalam penguatan industri halal di Indonesia. Kami juga mengapresiasi dukungan UPH, khususnya FHospar UPH, yang telah menyediakan fasilitas dan kolaborasi sehingga kompetisi ini dapat terselenggara dengan baik,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baik UPH maupun Bank Indonesia Provinsi Banten berharap kompetisi ini dapat menjadi ruang pembelajaran bagi peserta untuk mengasah keterampilan sekaligus memperluas wawasan di luar kelas. Manfaat inilah yang dirasakan langsung oleh <strong>Darrel Nathanael<\/strong> dan <strong>Renathan Olde Poluan, <\/strong>Mahasiswa Program Studi Pengelolaan Perhotelan UPH angkatan 2024. Bagi keduanya, Halal Chef Competition 2026 menjadi kesempatan untuk menguji kemampuan sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan di bidang kuliner profesional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mereka mengaku tertantang untuk mengeksekusi konsep hidangan dalam situasi kompetitif, sekaligus belajar dari kreativitas dan teknik peserta lain yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang. Interaksi tersebut menjadi pengalaman pembelajaran baru yang mendorong mereka untuk terus memperluas wawasan dan kemampuan di bidang kuliner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Melalui Halal Chef Competition 2026, FHospar UPH menegaskan komitmennya dalam menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri sekaligus mendorong lahirnya generasi <em>chef<\/em> muda yang kompeten, kreatif, dan berintegritas.
