In Actuarial Science, we manage risk. The future is uncertain and full of risk. Risk is the chance that an understandable event will occur, but risk is also opportunity. That’s where we come in.
In Business Mathematics, we use mathematics to solve problems commercial enterprises to record and manage business operations. Commercial organizations use mathematics in accounting, inventory management, marketing, sales forecasting, and financial analysis.
Computational Mathematics involves research in areas of data science, science and engineering where computing plays a central and essential role. Topics include statistical modelling, machine learning, optimization, management and analysis of massive data set, and data acquisition and developing accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving physical or biological models.
