This specialization prepares the students to pursue accounting profession in digital era of accounting. This specialization equips the students with knowledge, abilities, and skills in accounting process, information systems, business analytics and audit in digital environment of business. This includes cloud accounting, web-based information systems, digital business big data analytics and digital audit.
This specialization explores aspects of audit knowledge
to prepare students to conduct special types of audit assignments. That include management, computerized and fraud audits this concentration provides the students with necessary skills for audit programs, audit procedures, and audit techniques in management, computerized and fraud audits.
This specialization provides the students with skills of acquiring, processing, preparing, and utilizing such relevant accounting information and the knowledge relevant to managing a business.
The specialization focuses on understanding how economic events such as operating activities, corporate investments, and financing transactions are recorded in the three main financial statements. Students will develop the technical skills needed to analyze financial statements and disclosures for use in financial analysis. Students will also learn how accounting standards and managerial incentives affect the financial reporting process
