Clinical pharmacy deals mainly about how to provide patient care through rational use of drugs, with the goal to optimize medication therapy and promotes health, well- being and disease prevention, and ultimately improve the patient’s quality of life.
Natural product pharmacy is more on how to extract, prepare, and use natural products, as an example medicinal plants for pharmaceutical purposes. This is a new trend in society which gains popularity due to the fewer negative side effects of naturally obtained drugs compared to the synthetic ones.
