 INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Demonstrates how project management can be implemented in construction, industry, manufacturing and services, The scope of study includes an introduction to project management, project selection, project organization and management, project planning and scheduling, budgeting and cost estimation, resource allocation, leasing and equipment financing, international financial project management, negotiation and conflict resolution, monitoring and controlling a project, evalution and auditing, multi-cultural aspects, the environment and unsolved issues, project close down, termination, and post project review.
TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Develops knowlegde and skills in preparing the construction process and operation of projects by coordinating the total quality management, The scope of study includes feasibility in the design, construction and operation of a project, human resources management, organizational management, operation management and marketing management.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
Develops the knowlegde and skills to conduct a feasibility analysis of a project, including market analysis, economic analysis, engineering analysis and legal analysis.
 MASTER OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
OPTIMIZES THE REALIABILITY OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES
ENGINEERING ECONOMICS
Provides an understanding of the basic concepts of cost evaluation and its components. The scope of study includes the time concepts of money [present value, discount rate, net present value). evaluation methods [payback, return on book value]. feasibility studies for project, depreciation, constant and variable costs, break-even point, construction economics in industry, estimation, risk and uncertainty.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Presents the research process, research methodology and analyzes the research findings in order to answer the research problems.
RESEARCH SEMINAR
Prepare the students to publish the research process through presentation in class, presentation in public seminar, publish in national or international journals. All the publications will be gathered as the comprehensive research for the Final Project at UPH Master of Civil Engineering.
FINAL PROJECT
The final project is offered in three formats: • Thesis/Research
• Project Report
• Feasibility Study
The student will conduct an independent and planned research project report or feasibility study under the direction of an advisor.
