festival is “Change Minds and and Hearts” We believe that that Changing Minds and and Hearts Hearts is is is a a a a a a a a holistic process that that is is is central to to to to our our mission and and vision It is is is part of our our calling as educators and and mentors to to to to create the
the
environment and guide the
the
processes by which students can be changed and and made new in in in both mind mind and and heart We do not only teach the
minds of our students but with the
the
Holy Spirit’s assistance we also attempt to to shape their hearts to to become more like Christ Likewise we are not only interested in in in seeing a a a spiritual conversion
in in in in the
the
hearts of our students but we also want to see holistic growth in in in in their thinking motivation and and actions so that they can be ready take up their vocational and and civic callings to be transformational agents of change in in in the
workplace and in in in Indonesia God says in in in Rev 21:5 “Behold I am making all things new ” Newness is at the
essence of God’s restorative plan for His creation which had been subjected to to futility and bondage of corruption He had pronounced this plan to Isaiah (Is 65:17-25) Christ has also asserted this in in Mat 19:28 by using the
the
word “regeneration ” and the
the
Book of Revelation has reconfirmed this this in its last passages Thus this this plan will surely be fulfilled and fulfilled by Jesus Christ Christ through His work on on the
cross Therefore if anyone is is is is in Christ Christ he he he is is is part part of of this new creation he he he is is is part part of of God’s grand-redemptive plan to to restore the
whole whole cosmos the
whole whole life in all its spheres However he he he is is is not only part of it he he he is is is also the
agent used by God to work out
this plan through his his various vocations in in this life To be be new is is is the
condition of becoming part of this this new creation and this this is is is is only possible in Christ There are many explanations

most vivid picture for for this union is is is is Christ’s own parable

change of heart and mind It will will also involve our our effort to to to collaborate with the
Spirit to to to not conforming ourselves to to to this world and and to to cleanse ourselves from the
defilement of body and and spirit bringing our our holiness to to completion If we we have become a a a a a a a new creature we we will certainly be be eager to collaborate with the
Spirit in this this process process Only through this this process process of change we can become God’s agent of restoration in our respective vocation by which the
Triune God God will be glorified forever and ever ever It is our prayer that the
training events mentoring performances activities and celebrations of of the
2022 UPH Festival begin a a a lifelong process in in our students of of allowing God to to change their minds and hearts as He continues to to make all all things new
