Honorary Professorship Award to Jonathan L. Parapak from Corban College, USA

Biola University is also making preparations to send a team of lecturers to UPH for an exchange program

Rector of Universitas Pelita Harapan Jonathan Parapak who has just returned from the United States occupied a visiting professorship?s chair at Corban College and enhanced cooperation with Ouchita Baptist University, recently.

At least two Ouchita professors are scheduled to occupy UPH?s professorships from June to December this year. Meanwhile four UPH students will study for a semester at Ouchita as part of the two universities? students exchange program.

Biola University is also making preparations to send a team of lecturers to UPH for an exchange program, according to Parapak.

All these developments demonstrate that UPH is now an internationally-acknowledged university, Parapak remarked.

In order to maintain this reputation, and provide easier access to students from the eastern half of Indonesia to get world-class education, UPH is opening a branch in Surabaya , the capital city of East Java .
?This one?UPH Surabaya ?will be established legally on June 1, 2008 and we will begin with business, law, psychology, and creative industry studies,? said Parapak, who is also the rector of UPH Surabaya.
