The purpose of this activity is to know and love Indonesian culture even more.

Akulah Indonesia (I am Indonesia) is an activity held by Communication students association to celebrate Sumpah Pemuda, held on October 27-30, 2008. The committee held several programs, such as journalistic seminar, music performance, traditional food bazaar, batik fashion show, and an exhibition of Indonesian antiques.

The purpose of this activity is to know and love Indonesian culture even more. ?This activity is made for UPH students to care and love their own culture, and of course to promote unity as the Sumpah Pemuda?s spirit,? said Linda, the person in charge.

In the journalistic seminar, the committee presents the making of Jejak Petualang, which is broadcasted at TransTV. The seminar was delivered by the crews themselves. Jejak Petualang is a TV program that shows various Indonesia?s culture and richness that most people have not known.

?From diversity, we can learn to respect other culture,? said Roro, a reporter of the program. She also addded that Indonesia divers a lot in culture, and it should not be considered as a separator, but as a diversity that should be protected and preserved.
