Introduction of pneumatic system at UPH (9 / 02) ? UPH Faculty of Industrial Engineering in cooperation with PT. Fesco organized expo trainers in order to introduce equipments used to run a pneumatic system in the industrial world. Pneumatic is simply defined as the air pressure that produces a movement.
This system is one of the solutions to minimize a leakage in the process of food and beverage packaging. “If we can maximize the wind well, then we can minimize the leakage, and that means saving electricity, ” said Safri Susanto, PT Festo’s Didactic Manager. In addition, pneumatic is also applied in the textile industry, water treatment, entertainment, and automotive. The exhibition was actually a part of Pneumatic Engineering Festival and Competition at UPH.
