Wednesday, 11 August 2010 is the first day of UPH Festival 17 event. This event was intended to welcome new students of 2010. A total of 198 mentors joined in to accompany almost 1,400 students from 25 departments and 13 faculties. Every mentor accompanied around 10 students from his department. Welcoming New Students which started from 7 am was filled with various programs such as campus? vision and mission introduction by Vice Rector III, film showing of activities conducted by BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa / Student?s Executive Body) and MPM (Majelis Perwakilan Mahasiswa / Student Represetative? Council) and also introduction from Sports and Arts department, Spiritual Growth department, student orgaizations and activities. The new students were also trained for the Opening Ceremony preparation which will be held on the next day.
